Blue Pool

Visit Blue Pool! Just outside Fairbourne. Walk up the cliff towards the old slate mine. Walk through one of the old tunnels and see Blue Pool in all its Beauty. Climb up the sides to see spectacular views of Barmouth and its Estuary.

Corris Craft Centre

Just 5 miles out of Macinleth in the small mining village of Corris. This craft centre concentrates of the skills of the local community. Visit the wooden craft toy shop and get many different items engraved with your name on or the candle shop and see some fantastic handmade candles. Then stop for a cup of tea and have a homemade welsh cake in the cafe.

Dolphins in New Quay

Make sure you get up early, and get down to New Quay harbour to see the Dolphins swim in the bay! There are also boat rides you can take from the Harbour Wall to take you out, and every now and then the Dolphins will swim with the Bow Wave. The boat trip also takes you past some rocks where some of the Seals sunbathe on the rocks.
